Amanda + Tim // Engaged in Philadelphia

Photographing close friends is pretty indescribable. I (Marisa) met Tim 9 years ago my first day of college in North Carolina. Although we rarely see each other, he's remained a true friend and a total inspiration. Tim's a seriously talented guy, insanely kind, and really found an equally incredible person in Amanda. Couldn't be happier for them both - I love these two so much. We're literally counting the days until their wedding this fall in North Carolina.  I'll get real sappy when the time comes but, until then - here's a few frames from when Amanda and Tim came to visit:

Jess + Bowie // A Surprise Proposal

A meticulously planned & flawlessly executed surprise proposal - easily the most emotionally charged morning, ever. Sharing this monumental experience, with strangers turned friends, rehearsing the lines, the timing, the music & eventually hiding in the dark, waiting & waiting. With the help of his family & friends, Bowie transformed a private airplane hanger into The Perfect Proposal. Obviously, she said yes:

Nicole + Brian // Engaged

There are few things better than starting a shoot as strangers and ending as friends. Nicole and Brian are so much fun and so clearly in love. And you'd be hard pressed to find a couple that looks this good drenched in multicolored paint. Although, I'm positive it's impossible to take a bad photo of Nicole. Whoa. Their wedding on December 22nd is officially our early Christmas present.

Jess + Carmen // Engagement shoot at The Metropolitan Building

We've been looking forward to meeting Jess & Carmen for what seems like forever and couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. We had the opportunity to wander around their incredible venue, The Metropolitan Building, while we waited out the rain.

Jess & Carmen are absolutely two of the most inspiring and positive people to be around. Countdown to October 27th starts now.
